Stephan began his musical journey as a drummer and picked up his first pair of sticks at around the age of 5, after playing in a couple of high school bands as a drummer he moved on to piano/keyboard as an avenue in which to write songs.  Stephan is also a lead singer and has "fronted" bands in the past.  He has been involved in many musical projects, which have included serving as the musical director for the 82nd Airborne Division All American Chorus, as well as recording and production work.  Some of his interests outside of music are Karate, fitness, water sports and politics.
