Joellen started singing at a very young age and began playing guitar at twelve. She began performing professionally as a teen-ager when she and Doug Sable Wilmarth formed their first band "Razor's Edge". Since then Joellen has been involved in many musical endeavors, singing many different styles of music. Although her roots are "Rock" she enjoys singing R&B, Country and old torch songs from the 50's and 60's and is currently studying the techniques of Ella Fitzgerald and other jazz artists. Some of her favorite singers are Gladys Knight, Aretha Franklin, Ann Wilson and Tom Jones (to name just a few). Outside of the music field, she enjoys target shooting, fitness, politics, old black and white movies, fashion, cooking and wine.
